Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative at IEQ Technology, you will be responsible for helping to develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance our visibility and engagement with our target customers.

You will work closely with design and product teams to promote our IT solutions and drive business growth.

Ideal candidates will be comfortable with, and have experience with, interfacing directly with prospective clients, cataloguing findings, and following up with them to ensure conversion where applicable.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Attending marketing opportunities and events such as Chamber of Commerce meetings, greeters, and other business events.
  • Directly interfacing with business owners, associates, and representatives of other businesses to build rapport, trust, and confidence with prospective clients on IEQ’s behalf.
  • Cataloguing prospects and leads into our CRM, while alerting the rest of the team to hot leads and following up with them both physically and digitally where applicable.
  • Work with design and product teams to implement strategic marketing plans to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
  • Help to create and manage advertising campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
  • Assist in conducting market research to identify trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs.
  • Coordinate with the team to generate leads and improve sales conversion rates.
  • Deliver presentations to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Organize and participate in events, such as conferences, trade shows, and seminars.
  • Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Manage social media platforms, ensuring an active and engaging presence.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and vendors to execute marketing programs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in the IT sector.
  • Strong understanding of current marketing tools and strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
  • Creative thinker with a results-driven approach.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with CRM software and digital marketing tools and platforms.
  • Experience in content creation and management.
  • An outgoing, friendly, extroverted demeanor.

Job description

This role involves designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. QA Engineer role plays an important part in the company’s product development process.

Responsibilities

  • Perform software testing to ensure software meets all functional requirements in the expected environments
  • Achieve in-depth understanding of software systems in order to communicate effectively with the development team and customers
  • Create and run test cases based on the input provided by the development team
  • Provide concise technical documentation on software defects and the steps for issue reproduction
  • Troubleshoot issues reported by customers in live production environments
  • Manage internal testing environments
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned

Required Qualification

  • Associate’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • Detailed and accurate analytical and reasoning skills; should be able to create and apply all scenarios in the workflow of the software
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding of the following subjects:
  • Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, 3-way handshake, DNS, etc.)
  • HTTP (Structure, status codes, authentication, etc.)
  • Web technology (HTML, JS)
  • SSL/TLS protocols
  • Routing
  • SMTP
  • Familiarity with QA methodologies such as
    • Equivalence Class Partitioning
    • Boundary Class Partitioning

Preferred Skills:

  • Kanban / Scrum project management software (Jira)
  • Linux fundamentals (Command line navigation and basic features, file system permissions, networking, etc.)
  • MacOS/iOS & Android development and quality assurance on mobile devices
  • Windows (Permissions, services, file system, Event Viewer, etc.)
  • Browser web console and development pane
  • Endpoint testing
  • Familiarity with Postman a plus.
